Getting Started
How do I download PocketPro?
PocketPro is currently in beta and available on iOS through Apple TestFlight. Join the beta here. Android is coming soon.
How do I create an account?
Open the app and tap "Sign Up." You'll need to provide an email address and create a password. After signing up, you'll be asked to set up your profile with a username and handicap.
Is my course supported?
PocketPro has access to over 20,000 courses worldwide. Search for your course in the app—if it's not available, use the "Request Course" option above and we'll prioritize adding it.
Using PocketPro
How do I log a shot?
During a round, tap the "Log Shot" button after hitting. The app will capture your GPS location. Select the club you used and the lie type, then save. For shots you forget to log, you can tap on the map to mark the landing position.
How many shots do I need to log for accurate recommendations?
You'll start seeing personalized recommendations after just 5-10 shots per club. The more you play, the more accurate the recommendations become. After a few rounds, PocketPro will know your distances very well.
What do the confidence levels mean?
- Low confidence: Fewer than 5 shots logged with this club
- Medium confidence: 5-14 shots logged
- High confidence: 15+ shots logged
The more shots you log, the higher your confidence level and the more reliable your recommendations.
How does the aim adjustment work?
PocketPro tracks whether you tend to miss left or right with each club. If you miss right 65% of the time, it'll recommend aiming left to compensate—keeping your miss out of trouble.
What is mid-round adaptation?
If you're hitting it shorter or longer than usual during a round, PocketPro detects the pattern and adjusts recommendations in real-time. You'll see a notification like "7 Iron playing 8 yards short today."

How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. You'll receive a link to reset your password.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Contact us at info@pocketpro.golf to request account deletion. We'll process your request within 30 days.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Contact us at info@pocketpro.golf to request a copy of your data.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your shot data and performance statistics are private to your account. Only you can access your own data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Technical Issues
Why isn't my GPS working accurately?
Make sure location permissions are enabled for PocketPro in your device settings. For best accuracy, ensure you have a clear view of the sky. GPS can be less accurate in heavily wooded areas.
Why is the app running slowly?
Try closing and reopening the app. Make sure you're running the latest version from TestFlight. If issues persist, contact support with your device model and iOS version.
Why am I not receiving the verification email?
Check your spam/junk folder. Make sure you entered the correct email address. If you still don't receive it, contact support and we'll help verify your account.
Tournament Play
Can I use PocketPro in tournaments?
Distance measuring devices are generally legal under USGA rules. However, some PocketPro features (like aim recommendations) may not be permitted in all competitions. Always check local rules before using the app in a tournament.
